Dear all,
I hope you are well and enjoyed the sunny weather this week.
It was a busy week at Downsell Primary School. The Year 6 children completed their SATS. We are very proud of them. They worked extremely hard and I am sure their results will reflect their efforts.
To add to this, the Year 2 children also sat their SATS. They will continue to do so next week too. The Year 2 children have also been very hard working and focused, I am sure they will do fantastically.
This week also saw the finals of the Downsell Primary School Chess Competition. We had 30 children compete in the competition and there were 3 winners.
Next week is a 3 day week for us at Downsell Primary School. The school is being used as a polling station on Thursday and Friday is an inset day.
