Y5/6 Badminton Festival

A group of Year 5 and 6 children went to the Peter May Centre to learn the skills involved in Badminton. As part of School Games the children tried out a new sport and learnt about transferable skills of the sport.
They also learnt how the mentality of the sportsperson can have a big effect on normal life! If you can concentrate in sport then it will improve your concentration at home and at school, for example.
Everybody involved enjoyed themselves and we hope to go on more trips like this in the future!
